Synopsis

Sandokan now directs his attention toward the Sultan's antimony mines. Brooke and Murray pursue him relentlessly. Marianne, deeply shaken by recent events, at last perceives the brutality inflicted upon the colonies by the English, and her understanding of the world is irrevocably altered.
