Synopsis

The death of a man connected to the Imperial Envoy has cast a shadow of suspicion upon the Samurai. The Emperor demands the capture – dead or alive – of every Samurai and their retainers. Kambei and his companions manage to slip away from the pursuit. Will they succeed in evading their enemies? And can they do so without a single life lost?
