Synopsis

Speech has deserted Chise, and her mind and body are failing rapidly. Shuji pleads with Kawahara to take her back, to somehow restore her, but the doctor offers a grim prognosis: she will never be whole again. Searching through her belongings, Shuji finds Chise’s exchange diary. Within its pages lies a single, poignant request directed at him: to return to the place where their first kiss had taken place.
