Synopsis

Chise cradles Tetsu as he fades. Meanwhile, Akemi’s father distributes supplies for the upcoming festival, and the school begins its preparations for the summer celebration, though the military seeks to halt the festivities. Chise returns with Shuji, and together they run away, their joy palpable.
