Synopsis

After freeing Israel from Egypt, where did God guide them? To the Promised Land, naturally. Yet, while geographically accurate, this answer misses a crucial theological point. God Himself reveals the true destination: “You yourselves have seen what I did in Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.” (Exodus 19:4). The biblical-theological response underscores God's ultimate aim: He brought them to be with Him.
