Synopsis

Having departed Egypt, Israel embarked on an uncertain journey toward the Promised Land. The people faced a protracted and arduous trek, one demanding the acquisition of many new lessons. The Lord would guide and provide for them, desiring to foster their growth; yet, they had to learn discipline, self-mastery, sacrifice, unselfishness, reliance on the Lord, and above all, obedience.
