Synopsis

For decades, scholars have debated the meaning of Jesus' parables: how best to understand them, what truths they convey, why he employed this method of teaching, what lessons he intended to reveal, and whether they should be interpreted literally, as allegory, or some other way. We will not resolve all these questions in this week’s study. Rather, we will examine them and, with God's help, gain a clearer understanding of the points Jesus was making through these stories.
