Synopsis

Even in the depths of hardship, God remained steadfastly with His people. They discovered in Jesus "the way, the truth, and the life," and empowered by the Holy Spirit, they maintained their resolve, even when faced with immense pressure to abandon their deeply held beliefs. Faithful to God's word as revealed in Scripture, they unflinchingly defended the truth of His teachings, undeterred by overt or subtle coercion. This week’s lesson draws from Chapter 3 of *The Great Controversy*.
