Synopsis

Avery and Mike found themselves locked in a silent battle at the swap meet, a contest of wills as much as of dollars. Avery refused to part with the rusted hulk, instead choosing the arduous path of restoration for a 1967 Mercury Cougar burdened by a history of its own. Mike, however, remained determined to acquire the vehicle, and their unspoken rivalry simmered beneath the surface of casual conversation and appraisal.
