I’ve seen very few shows quite like this one, which I would describe as a "cosplay show" because it seemed to disregard any real effort to portray its historical setting. This problem persisted when the narrative began delivering messages reflecting contemporary social views, something it was entirely unsuited to do. It could have been salvaged if the drama had intended to be a satire, but that wasn’t the case. There were other noticeable issues and contradictions, though the most striking aspect was how much unremarkable content filled the majority of the show—it felt genuinely mind-numbing. It's unclear what the series aimed to be: a commentary on society, a political piece, an exploration of careers, a casual depiction of daily life, or a simple romantic comedy? It never fully committed to any particular direction or embraced a central theme. Each time it attempted to explore something more substantial, it retreated back to a superficial level. The combination of elements simply didn't work. I’d like to comment on the actors, their interactions, and the romantic aspects as well, but I don’t want to rehash what I’ve already said.
