Synopsis

While Pompey circles the city with his forces, Caesar works to solidify his power within Rome. Atia hosts a welcoming celebration for Caesar’s return, and Vorenus marks the beginning of his new life as a citizen-businessman with a gathering of his own. Pullo’s fortunate streak persists; he delivers Quintus Pompey to Caesar, who then returns the young man to his father's camp, accompanied by an offer of peace that Caesar knows Pompey will reject.
