Synopsis

A one-legged messenger, mortally wounded and bearing a message from King Richard, fled from Locksley Manor, pursued relentlessly by Gisborne’s men. He collapsed into Robin's arms, and in his final moments, whispered that the King required him to return and fight in the Holy Land, uttering the single word, "Lardner."
