Synopsis

Following a near-fatal gunshot wound sustained during the precinct siege in the season finale, Jane Rizzoli finds herself unexpectedly lauded as a hero at a public ceremony. The accolades are fleeting, however, as tragedy soon intervenes. The subsequent investigation draws Jane back into the orbit of Sergeant Major Casey Jones, a high school acquaintance who may hold the key to mending her fractured spirit.
