Riverdale has several appealing aspects, though it might not satisfy those who are devoted to the original Archie comics. The series makes significant alterations, modernizing Archie’s world to reflect contemporary American society. Despite these changes, the fundamental connections between characters feel authentic. The acting is excellent, and recognizable actors portray the parents. Season 1's main storyline revolves around a murder investigation. While perhaps surprising for Archie and his friends, this plot does a good job of introducing the characters and their relationships while creating a Riverdale world that could support the show for several more seasons if it gets picked up past season 2. It’s enjoyable to watch high school life unfold with unexpected developments in a town called Riverdale, which provides an intriguing and captivating backdrop.
