I lost interest in this show after just two episodes. As someone who’s labeled a “bleeding-heart liberal” – though that’s not really how I see myself; I'm more of an anti-theist and misanthrope, as some people might put it – the characters are too foolish to still be around twenty minutes into the second episode. **\[SPOILERS AHEAD\]** 1. A child wanders off alone into the woods after hearing a peculiar animal sound, and then sets off a trap. Luckily, it wasn’t one designed to kill people. I usually can accept kids acting recklessly in shows and movies, because they're children, but when all of the adults are also behaving badly, it becomes excessive. 2. Two dimwits attempt to conceal their “revived” and disturbed elderly parent (I guess she’s a parent to one or both of them). After being discovered by the sheriff’s daughter, she goes on a violent spree, killing one of those two people, injuring another, and nearly harming the sheriff's daughter and her sister before someone decapitates her. 1. Not once does anyone consider whether this woman might have dementia, which could explain her outburst. 2. They leave her body unattended in a room with an officer standing outside the door facing away from it. I paused the episode and wasn't sure if I wanted to resume watching, but I was trying to figure out if everyone is aware that those who are “revived” can heal injuries, or if only the sheriff’s daughter knows—and if so, why she apparently didn’t inform anyone. Of course, the "revived" elderly woman then regenerates the top of her head and scalp and goes on a killing spree at the hospital, taking out multiple people, including the guard. 3. Even after all that happened, the mayor still doesn't want to let the sheriff gather up these “revived” individuals. "And if Arlene is as scary as you say \[...\]" Seriously?! She just killed a bunch of people and she’s practically immortal (as far as we know so far), WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, HMM?! Is it "God"? Who wrote this? “See? Even the bleeding-heart liberal agrees with me!” I don't mind the little dig, but seriously, who wrote this? It’s a comic, so someone wrote this in comic form, then somebody else read it and decided to adapt it for television without stopping to think "This is unbelievably stupid, isn't it?" No thanks.
