Synopsis

Steele found himself unexpectedly drawn into the orbit of a street urchin, a boy quick with nimble fingers and a sharper wit. The boy’s theft of Steele’s wallet escalated quickly when he also pilfered incriminating documents – proof of a loan shark's ruthless methods. Now, Steele was faced with a predicament: the boy had inadvertently entangled him in a dangerous game, one where the consequences for failure were severe.
