Synopsis

Following a near-fatal experimental therapy for Hepatitis C, Wes left NorBAC to join a pioneering HCV program in Stockholm. Meanwhile, a city councilor, motivated by prejudice, asserted his daughter had been poisoned by Muslim extremists. Elsewhere, the FDA considered expediting the approval of certain medications to save an immunocompromised woman infected with smallpox.
