Synopsis

Carlos has been gone for two days now. David returns to Mexico first, driven by the need to find him, and then to assist the Mexican people in their fight against drug-resistant tuberculosis, a disease claiming lives throughout the region. Meanwhile, Mayko and Rachel work tirelessly, pursuing both a cure for the TB and an understanding of the peculiar insensitivity to pain afflicting the residents of Hudson Point, Illinois.
