Synopsis

The strain of HIV Sean transmitted to Audrey Graves proves exceptionally virulent, resistant to all current three-drug therapies. Consequently, they resolve to explore every available pharmaceutical combination, enlisting the aid of laboratories willing to participate. Audrey Graves’s infant is HIV positive, and they cling to the hope of eradicating the virus through this novel approach. Meanwhile, Carlos continues his search for Patient Zero in Africa.
