Synopsis

The NorBAC committee was nearing a declaration of safety for an experimental treatment used in children with leukemia when another child succumbed to the disease. David, ignoring established protocols, journeyed to Nunavut in search of a sample – what he believed to be the Spanish Flu virus – from a frozen body. Meanwhile, Mick and Lilith embarked on a whale-watching expedition in Quebec, though Lilith began to grasp the extent of his illness.
