Synopsis

Juan is led to a military prison where he will be executed for the death of his wife. No one doubts the physician's guilt, but Catalina and Margarita uncover something within the palace that will cause Gonzalo to question whether Juan is truly responsible for the murder. Richard Blake, Mariana’s husband, the pirate, returns to the village. His aim is to kill the Cardinal, but he fails in his initial attempt. Mendoza requests protection from the Commissioner, but the latter is occupied with more
