Synopsis

A surge of elation washed over Matrix as he finally established a connection to the network. The lifeline he’d sought was secured, a gateway to information and perhaps, to hope. But the reprieve was fleeting. His access was abruptly severed, the city falling under the oppressive advance of what appeared to be a force of guardians.
