Synopsis

When Reba learned that Van managed the family finances and had Cheyenne meticulously recording every purchase in an expense journal, she gently suggested he treat her with more respect. Van, however, concluded that a weekly allowance for household duties would be the most effective approach. This decision, predictably, did not sit well with his wife. Elsewhere, Barbra Jean discovered that Jake had begun a profitable venture selling soda—a clear violation of school regulations—to his classmates.
