I was really impressed with the first season of Reacher; it captured the essence of Jack Reacher perfectly – a solitary force dismantling criminal enterprises. However, season 2 didn’t quite hit the mark. It came across as an unremarkable action film centered on a group of former military personnel. The distinctive "lone wolf" character that made Reacher so appealing was noticeably absent. They really should have given it a different title, something like "Reacher and the Misfit Battalion."
