Synopsis

He was now eighteen, and the world had a way of delivering harsh lessons. It was the year Maw Maw finally asked him to leave home, the year a darkly inclined youth took up residence amongst the aisles of the grocery store, and the year Burt and Virginia truly began to understand what it meant to grow up.
