Synopsis

The long journey from Sydney to Perth began with the Zig Zag Railway, winding through the Blue Mountains from the city's outskirts. Next, the Indian Pacific carried travelers from Sydney, via Broken Hill, to Adelaide. From there, a boat trip took them to Kangaroo Island, marking a transition in the extensive route.
