Synopsis

The journey continued with the Jungfraubahn. From Interlaken, we ascended to Grindelwald via the Bernese Oberland funicular, the gateway to the Wengernalp railway. The train then appeared to inch its way upward, clinging to the stark cliffs of the Eiger, before diverting at Kleine Scheidegg. Through a six-kilometer tunnel, passengers were transported to Europe's highest railway station, perched at 3,450 meters, where an awe-inspiring panorama of glaciers and peaks unfolded.
