Synopsis

The journey along Scotland's east coast, beginning in Aberdeen, unfolds as a passage through a succession of artworks. Even landscapes less overtly dramatic than some might expect still command attention. Two of the world’s most celebrated railway viaducts punctuate the route, each imbued with its own history.
