Synopsis

A police officer was murdered during a standard house call, and the perpetrator proved to be an old acquaintance of Sam’s – a man known to Sam as the gentlest soul he had ever encountered. Following his arrest, he confessed to the killing, only to take his own life within the confines of a jail cell. Haunted by this sudden descent into violence, Sam resolved to understand what could have transformed his friend. His inquiries revealed traces of radiation in the jawbone and unearthed a disturbi
