Synopsis

The call brought Quincy to the county morgue, where he prepared to examine a man who had succumbed at the hospital. He was struck by the skill and dedication of the physician who’d fought so hard to keep him alive. Yet, as he delved deeper into the case, a troubling detail emerged: the patient had initially been taken to another local hospital, only to be turned away in an ambulance because he lacked insurance. Later, Quincy visited that very hospital and witnessed a similar situation unfold
