Synopsis

Haunted by an autopsy—a woman’s suicide born from despair over disfiguring scars—Quincy found himself drawn into the unsettling realm of cosmetic surgery. His investigation revealed a disturbing truth: the surgeon performing these procedures wasn't, in fact, a board-certified plastic surgeon, but simply a doctor with a general medical degree. The law, it seemed, permitted anyone holding an MD to declare themselves a specialist without possessing any particular training or accreditation.
