Synopsis

Vince and Stuart were at Phil’s funeral, held in the quiet village where he’d spent his childhood. Phil had orchestrated every detail of the service with meticulous care; the result was a display of gloriously gaudy sentimentality that was profoundly depressing, particularly as Mrs. Delaney seemed bewildered by it all. Vince felt a knot of nervousness tighten in his stomach; Phil had, in his final arrangements, nominated him to read the words to Phil’s favorite song, "D.I.S.C.O."
