The initial episodes of "Queen Mantis" show promise, but ultimately it undermines its own potential. Adapted from a French Netflix program sharing the same title, the story about a female serial killer and the individual who imitates her crimes is initially engaging. However, an increasingly apparent bias against men develops into something unpleasant around episode six. Essentially, what could have been a good series is let down by more polarizing, politically charged content. It’s not worth watching.
