This revival has only made me want to revisit the initial series. I’m not sure what the purpose of this 2022 take on Quantum Leap is; the characters feel fake, the narratives lack substance, and the dramatic moments are excessive. It simply doesn't hold my attention. It would be better to watch the original—it remains just as enjoyable now as when I first saw it. The adventures are completely captivating, and the rapport between Al and Sam is wonderful.
