Synopsis

Punky forms an unlikely friendship with Linda, the school's janitor who lives with a mental disability, offering her comfort when Allen mocks her. Later, Mike introduces Linda to the classroom, where she plays the violin. Through this experience, Mike gently teaches Allen and the other students that individuals with mental disabilities can possess remarkable talent, and that they experience emotions just like everyone else.
