The show’s first season recounts the story of a criminal genius attempting to dismantle a powerful organization called Sybil. The second season follows another villain pursuing the same goal... which is strikingly similar, actually ... yes, also aiming to destroy Sybil. I would suggest checking out the initial season if you enjoy cyberpunk stories, investigations, and well-developed characters. It’s an impressive look at a future where everything is monitored and regulated; your feelings are constantly under government observation, and this constant surveillance leads to discomfort and potentially mental health problems for the main cast, who must navigate criminals with whom they could share a future if they aren't careful. The show does a good job of portraying the villain as someone complex—if you look at him from a different angle, he might seem like the hero. Every character is believable, and there are unexpected plot developments that keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. **It’s absolutely worth watching 10/10**. However, I don't advise watching season 2 or beyond. The production team made some questionable decisions, including removing key characters from the cast. The villain is simply an over-the-top bad guy, and then they try to evoke sympathy by giving him a tragic backstory—but at that point, it’s hard to care. Characters act in ways that don't make sense, sometimes doing things that seem foolish and illogical. What made the first season so good was that lives felt important; deaths weren’t frequent, and this restraint gave the show a certain maturity. The second season is filled with excessive violence—bodies exploding, people being shot randomly—it feels like it was directed by a 12-year-old who just finished an argument on Twitter. The plot twists are laughable. One moment he wants to kill everyone, then two minutes later in the same episode, he suddenly realizes his mistake and changes course, without any real demonstration of how he changed his mind. **Please don't watch it; a 2/10** is being generous. In short: season 1 is excellent, while season 2 appears to have been created by someone else just trying to exploit the original concept for all it’s worth. I haven’t seen season 3, but knowing that it wasn't made by the same person, I can already tell it has nothing to do with what initially drew me in.
