Roday and Hill likely represent the greatest comedic partnership in recent times. Their interplay guarantees laughter throughout each episode, a characteristic rarely found in other television programs of this era. However, there's more to it than just that; the show also elicits sympathy for Maggie Lawson. She does have some good moments, and delivers occasional witty remarks and laughs, but she functions as the serious foil within an exceptionally funny ensemble. It must be challenging to maintain composure and portray a grounded character amidst so much absurdity. This is particularly true considering her partner’s unique brand of humor. The medical examiner consistently provides comedic relief, and even Bernson occasionally shines. The entire series proves to be relentlessly humorous from beginning to end.
