The remaining designers are allotted five months and ten thousand dollars to develop a ten-piece collection. Throughout this period, each receives a personal visit from Christian Siriano in their hometown. Upon their return to New York, they must select three ensembles to present as a mini-collection, a crucial step to earn a place in the final runway show, which will also feature a newly designed eleventh look.
