Synopsis

In a convenience store, Agent John Grant finds himself caught in the crossfire of a robbery while with his girlfriend, Kate (guest star Samantha Smith). When Kate is wounded and struggles for her life, Rachel and Bailey harbor fears that John will seek retribution beyond the bounds of the law. Even John's justified shooting of a suspect becomes subject to scrutiny, ultimately leading him to a furious resignation as he battles a crushing tide of guilt over Kate’s critical condition.
