Their reintegration is complicated by the arrival of two displaced individuals: the refined Victorian traveler Emily Merchant, and the dangerous Ethan Dobrowski. While Matt focuses on hunting down Ethan and safeguarding Emily, he finds himself unexpectedly connecting with her, cautiously revealing pieces of his own hidden history. Simultaneously, Connor’s growing alignment with Philip and his secretive New Dawn initiative creates a rift between him and Abby. The season takes another unexpected turn with Danny Quinn's return from the past, unveiling a shocking family connection: Ethan is revealed to be Danny’s long-lost brother, Patrick. As both brothers are sent back to their own time, Emily returns to hers as well, but not before Matt shares a startling truth – he himself is a traveler from the future, dispatched to prevent an impending catastrophe linked to Anomalies that threatens global destruction.
