Synopsis

Elizabeth encountered Darcy’s younger sister, Georgiana, and found her possessed of a quiet grace. Soon after, a devastating piece of news arrived: Lydia had eloped with Wickham, and despair settled upon the Bennets as they feared their youngest daughter irrevocably lost. Darcy, however, resolved to intervene on Lydia's behalf, though he made the decision in complete secrecy, withholding the matter from both the Bennet family and Elizabeth herself.
