It feels like just recently I finished watching the first season, so it’s nice to see where things are going. The narrative does progress, though it felt quite distinct from what came before. Initially, the story began with a journey, but about halfway through, it shifted and the rest of the plot unfolded in one location. Following the disappearance of the god, Jesse the preacher, along with two companions, sets out to locate him, traveling to different places. They get close, but he remains elusive. Along the way, they face numerous challenges; the Saint of Killers proved to be a particularly captivating element. An older character also contributes an intriguing detail. I wasn't satisfied with how his story concluded, as it wasn’t presented clearly, so anticipate a revelation in the next installment. Simultaneously, there’s another storyline taking place in hell. Eugene, who is trapped there, shares his experiences and encounters a well-known historical figure—who else could be residing in hell? I initially felt this perspective was superfluous, but it became meaningful as the season progressed, especially with its ending, which left behind a significant hint regarding what’s to come next. That should lead to an incredible confrontation; I'm eager to see it. The basic plot of this season might seem ridiculous when you consider it on paper, but they managed to make it work remarkably well. It isn't quite as strong as the first one, but it remains entertaining. There were plenty of unexpected developments that kept me engaged throughout each episode. Those who are fans of Tulip may be disappointed with how her storyline concluded, but we can only wait and see what happens next. I’m hoping for the best. _7/10_
