Synopsis

Despite the ingrained reluctance of many traditional Cambodian families to share their private matters, Sokly “Don Bonus” Ny offers audiences an intimate glimpse into his life during his senior year of high school in this poignant video diary. Following his father’s murder at the hands of Cambodia’s Khmer Rouge, Ny fled to the United States with his mother, grandmother, and siblings.
