Synopsis

Deborah Hoffmann's 1994 documentary, *Complaints of a Dutiful Daughter*, features cinematography by her wife, Frances Reid, and earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary Feature. The film chronicles the experience of Doris Hoffman, the director's mother and widow of Banesh Hoffmann, a colleague of Albert Einstein, as she battles Alzheimer's disease.
