Synopsis

The year is 2015. Hnutove, in the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine. Young Oleg lives in a landscape perpetually shadowed by war, where the sharp cracks of anti-aircraft fire and the distant thrum of missile strikes often echo with alarming proximity. While many of the area's residents have fled this perilous zone, he remains with his grandmother. She has been his sole caregiver since his mother’s passing, and they have no other place to turn.
