Synopsis

At a school for people with Down syndrome, four middle-aged friends dream of a life where they can truly make their own choices, a life often denied to those considered disabled by a wider society. *The Grown-Ups* offers a poignant, and at times unsettling, glimpse into the difficult position of adults who are seen as both capable and perpetually dependent.
