Synopsis

In India, two women, Kamala and Raji, strive to build a better existence for themselves. Their ingenuity, their dreams, and their ability to find happiness challenge the common image of Indian women as silent sufferers trapped in lives of utter destitution. By joining a burgeoning network of street vendors and laborers, these women promise to profoundly alter the lives of the men who trade with them in Ahmedabad.
