Synopsis

Filmmaker Niko von Glasow documents the athletes of the 2012 Paralympic Games in London: a one-handed Norwegian table tennis competitor, the Rwandan sitting volleyball team, an American archer who draws with his feet, and a Greek boccia player with paraplegia. Through these encounters, von Glasow—himself born with severely shortened arms—finds his assumptions and ingrained notions about the Paralympics and sport itself challenged and reshaped.
