Synopsis

In 2009, filmmaker Janus Metz and cinematographer Lars Skree embedded themselves with a company of Danish soldiers at Armadillo, a combat base in southern Afghanistan. For six months, often amidst the din of battle, they documented the lives of these young men as they fought the Taliban within a challenging and disorienting landscape.
