Synopsis

Following the death of his stepfather, Thomas Allen Harris undertakes a journey toward understanding with the man who had raised him, yet whom he could never truly call "father." Harris’s stepfather, B. Pule Leinaeng, along with eleven others, formed part of the initial wave of black South African exiles, departing Bloemfontein in 1960.
